We couldn’t agree more with the new report from CarnagieUK Trust ‘Making the Connection: The use of social technologies in civil society’ .. It finds that the majority of UK non-profits aren’t using social media as effectively as they could. Among others, it highlights poor web design, lack of true stakeholder engagement and common misconceptions about user groups as some of the common obstacles to putting social media to good use. It also states that resistance to new technology by management and trustees is an obstacle to effectively leveraging these new tools.
This report should be read by all.. please share widely!
