Melanie Wendland To Join As M4ID’s New Director of Service Design and Innovation

February 27, 2014

M4ID is pleased to announce that Melanie Wendland will be joining us as our new Director of Service Design and Innovation.   Melanie will lead M4ID’s expanding global innovation portfolio and bring service design thinking to some of the most challenging issues faced by under-served populations, especially women and children, in the world today.

I am very excited to take on this new challenge and lead service design driven social change projects that will help improve the quality of life and health of people living in low resource settings – Melanie Wendland

Melanie joins us from the service design consultancy Fjord where she initially set up and worked with Fjord’s Service Design Academy as Design Lead after working for several years in different interaction and service design roles. With an MBA in Service Design and Innovation, her research interest is in transformative services, a topic she has published articles on and lectured extensively.

We extend a warm welcome to Melanie and look forward to introducing her to our partners around the globe!
