New Project: Mobile service for facilitating self-management of medical results interpretation

June 18, 2014

We are working on a new project on supporting remote self-administration of semi-quantitative pregnancy tests (SQPT). Under an ongoing international study, the SQPT is  being piloted as a potential alternative to routine in-clinic follow-up and we are currently concepting a mobile telephony based service for supporting this process. Key design considerations for the design of the service include

• Readibility
• Ease of use
• Decreasing error-proneness
• Cultural context
• Adaptability to different locations
• Privacy

Currently, we’re working on  service opportunities with voice telephony that we will be testing in Tunisia later this year.
