In the Era of Visual Communication – Show and tell

The high volume of visual sharing through sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest prove people are increasingly interested in showing, alongside telling. [/span6]

People also respond better to visual communication:  44% of social media users are more likely to engage with brands if they post pictures than any other media type.Visuals have thus also become the most shared items online, on Facebook for example, posts with pictures are shared three times more widely than text-only posts.

A picture is worth 1,000 words

As visual content becomes an increasingly important force for communication online, organizations have also started to use images and infographics to convey their stories and data more effectively.  Here are some recent examples of how to convey messages through imagery:
